Heysekade

Heysekade is a unique new-build project in a historic location: Heijplaat, in the heart of Rotterdam's port area. Here, Inspire is developing eight zero-energy homes that fit in with the character of the former garden village.

The project consists of six three-storey single-family homes with spacious gardens and two flats. The homes face Heysekade and have front gardens on the street. With plenty of space, greenery and play facilities, Heysekade is a place where you can enjoy peace and quiet, community and proximity to the city.

From the very first phase of the Heysekade project, we were closely involved in translating the design into reality. In collaboration with architect TVA, we took care of both the design and the elaboration for Inspire. We modelled the homes in detail and used the model to produce the buyer contract drawings, working drawings and principle details.

We also remained involved during the sales process: we carefully and quickly incorporated buyer options and plan adjustments into the model, so that optimisations in the development and residents' choices could be seamlessly incorporated into the further plan development.

Thanks to a solid foundation in BIM, we contributed to a smooth process in which design, technology and housing requirements came together.
