GewoonGers Vlaardingen

GewoonGers, known for their custom-made steel interior door frames and interior products, opened its new doors in Vlaardingen in early October 2024. This new showroom replaces the old showroom and is more than 8x the size and factory and office also get a real upgrade in terms of surface area, but also in terms of technology with new machinery such as a powder coating line. This company, which can regularly be seen in home decoration programmes such as VT Wonen, puts itself strongly in the market with unique designs. The new building was extended in Vlaardingen, taking into account green compensation. This resulted in a sustainable approach with green facades, a green roof and nesting facilities for biodiversity.

On behalf of Inspire Real Estate, we developed the project from the initial design by Houdijk Architecten to the application for an environmental permit. We did this in close cooperation with the architect, carefully integrating all elements in BIM. We modelled the existing and new situation and developed the details from the original plan of the architect and delivered all the documents for the environmental permit.
