Flexibility, future orientation and 'being one school together' were the starting points for the design of the new building by architect Broekbakema. For the different teaching and teaching styles of the school, traditional classrooms are alternated with multifunctional, flexible spaces and open study landscapes. The spatial atrium forms the heart of the building and is the meeting place for all students. The combination of good insulation and good ventilation, energy savings and a healthy indoor environment has led to the school being awarded the designation 'Fresh School Class B'.
